A Tribute To Dominant Women

I know that dominant women is not always a positive image. However, I feel very grateful for the women in my life that gave me structure and pointed me to our savior Jesus Christ. Many of my foster moms were very dominant in their families.

I have mixed feelings over this topic. But all through my life I have looked up  to such women in my life. Much of my decision to become a pastor was due to the fact that I had strong women who were in my life that helped me to grow and mature in Christ. I would list these individuals but I am afraid that I would leave someone out.

Many would disagree with me but I really do not have a problem with a woman speaking or even preaching in church. My Hermenuetics Professor (The Study of Sermon Structure) said that if a woman preached in church, it would be the least sin she could comment. That is if it is a sin at all. Even Barak was given strength through God through the judge of Deborah.

Today I am having a good day. We had a good church service. I took our son up front and held him during the children's program. Thanks for listening to me today. Pastor Jimmy
